Re : Conditions to attend Masjid at-Taqwa as per the NZ Government Traffic Light System
As Salaam Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuhu
We pray to Allaah that you all are in the best of health and imaan.
As you would have heard on the media, the NZ Government is introducing the Traffic light system to slowly bring things back to some normality.
The first stage would be the Red Light, which will allow up to 100 people to attend the masjid with certain conditions.
The most important condition is that you will have to be fully vaccinated and have the Covid 19 Vaccination Certificate.
At this stage we wish to remind all brothers and sisters who wish to attend the masjid for daily salats to ensure that they get the Covid 19 vaccination, if they have not already been vaccinated.
We will let you know all the other conditions as soon as the Red Light go ahead is announced by the Government.

Is it right to turn away a fellow Muslim from the house of Allah because of their choice to not receive a vaccine? A vaccine that doesn’t stop infection or transmission. Jazak Allah khairan
Once it’s implemented, proof of vaccination will be required by NZ law in order for organisations to open in Red or Orange levels. Wa iyyaak 🙂
Aawrt
The govt has set no rules about compulsory vaccinations yet
The rules for religious community’s have not been set yet
Level 3 stage 2 Next week Wednesday allows 25 people outside but does not include Religious gatherings even out side
A long way to go people we as muslims have our strong iman we can pray anywhere
Vacinate yourself to protect others and yourself
Kia kaha
